Default penzoil synchromesh

bout 2 qt's. just wondering if its ok to use in my 95 dx because it said its not intended for all manual transmissions. thaks

if it says that it is not intended for all transmissions, then why ask to use it?
Honda MTF, that's the only MTF my B16A sees.

Yes, it's fine.

I've used 10w-30 engine oil, GM Synchromesh Friction Modified, Pennzoil/GM Synchromesh, BG SyncroShift, and Honda MTF (both the old and the new formulations) in the various Honda transmissions I've had. They all work fine. The only fluid I didn't like was the engine oil, because it made shifts feel notchy and rough.

Just whatever you do, make sure you put enough oil in. Low transmission oil levels are the main cause of input shaft bearing failure. Change it every 15,000 miles or every 3 oil changes, and remember to refill it whenever changing axles.

stock fluid was in the tranny since 95 and a ton of miles. this is the first timeits been changed. but i didnt think i would have to change it every 3 oil changes tho.

That is awful.

3x 5000-mile oil change intervals = 15,000 miles.

I've used it, and OEM...and I'd say OEM is still superior. But it's alright.
