Are these fuse holders good to use?
Did someone say these types of fuse holders are not as good as others?
I am replacing my 8 gauge wire with 4 gauge wire for my 2 amps( Alpine MRV-T320 and either the JL 500/1 or the APline 500 watt mono amp...i forgot the model nubmer on the alpine mono amp. i havnt gotten the mono amp yet for subs).
I remember reading a fuse thread that, from what I remember, said the AGU in-line fuse holders are not as good as other fuse holders, is that correct?
I am looking on ebay; I saw a few Stinger fuse holders that I am thinking of gettng. The picture below is what im talking about.

That is correct, the fuse itself has a lot of resistance that increases as fuse gets hot, and it's exponential to the point it can get hot enough to melt the solder that connects the fuse filament to the end caps.
Use an ANL fuse.
