hey ht i have a 92 civic 4dr with a b16a swap.i have been hearing a whistling noise coming from my engine between 2500 and 3000 rpm.can anyone give me some insite what could cause this.thanks

do you have an intake?... i have a ITR swap in my 99 coupe with a K&N short ram whistles all the time...reminds me of my SC'd D16

 

yea i have a short ram on it but i always had that on i just started to hear the whistling noise.

 

its normal. mine didn't start whistiling until about 2 weeks after i put on my intake

 

It's the infamous short ram whistle .... I had people I knew swear I had a turbo, and I was just lying.

 

yeps my CAI whistles as if i had a S/C. Normal
