Default CODE # 9 PLEASE HELP

Ive been reading code 9 is a bitch to get rid of, I have tried 2 good distributors My setup is an Ls/vtec Blox cams USDM type-r Pistons head is milled .20 and the typical bolt ons. I have it all jumped to OBD-1 in a 91 Si hatch. Can Anyone help me i have tryed everthing from a new distributor to adjusting the cam gears and checking the wiring what Am I doing worng please let me in on your secrets Thanks guys

did you check the wiring between the distributer and the ecu. Maybe you have a dead wire.

That Is what i am going to tackle when i get home from work today, I will trace the wires from the ecu to the distributor and see what i find out, Maybe I will even wire the distributor straight to the ECU just to rule out if there is a dead wire or not Do you know the other 5 pins where the distributor comes into the ECU the cps is B15,B16 thanks for your help
