18" slicks/drag radial. Anyone have this setup?
My integra has a big brake kit from SSBC and the 13" rotors require a minimum 18" wheel. That's exactly what i have however with the numbers im putting down, im spinning almost every gear. I looked up some BFG drag radials and found a few results. It can get pricey but i wanted to know if anyone has had to run this size of a slick and what their experience was. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

If you haven't already done so, you might try asking in the drag racing forum.
But if you don't get an answer there, either, it's probably because people aren't using tires that big. 18" tires don't come in smaller diameters, and remember, with a bigger diameter, it slows down your acceleration in each gear. It might possibly help your 1/4 mile figures if it saves you a shift, but otherwise, your times are going to be slower.

good idea. thx.
the car actually goes through gears rather quickly. i know i'd take a hit on wanting this setup, but it's how i like it. I just need to make enough power with a good tire to put make up for the loss.
