Default transmissions for F22A

i am converting my honda accord 93 ex auto to a manual transmission, i got the entire conversion kit for a 100 bucks, i know people, so i got it extremely cheap, but i was wondering what would be a good transmission to put in vs the stock manual one, i know like you can put integra type R trannies in GSR's and they have shorter gear ratios and the LSD, but is their some sort of LSD tranny that would fit in the f22a alright without a bunch of custom bullshit, i plan on boost after the 5-speed swap, and i am doing the work my self, any help or comments is appreciated, thx

h22 and h23 transmissions have shorter gears.. but if you are going to boost you might want the longer F series ones so you can stay in your power longer.

Honestly, if you're going to boost, I'd stick with a sport-auto with manual shift mode or get a continuously variable transmission, since the CVT eliminates the "shift shock" that's present on boosted manual trannies, and most CVT's for cars are chain-driven, so they have a much wider and longer power curve with a lot less powertrain loss. I have a Tiptronic 5-speed "slapshift" automatic transmission in my 1991 Accord (custom-build, taken from an Audi A4, swapped the F22A4 in my car out for the boosted I4 in the Audi A4, running 12psi) and I can easily see low to mid 11's in the quarter, and shift a lot faster than any manual transmission car will ever be able to...

^^ x2! Lol.

Go with an H22A or an H23A Trans if you're staying NA. And if you're worried about MPG, I'd stick to the F22 trans.
