Default 300hp H22...?

Yooo! Im lookin' for high 200 hp with an H22; is this feasible w/o a $million and a year of hard work? I was thinkin' a lil' stroker kit making it a 2.4l w/ around 12.0 CR. Build the head and some stg3 cams...Would that get me there? Does anyone have or know anyone w/ that much power?? What setup do they have...? Thanks for any input fellas!

Anything bigger than 97 mm stroke will need custom crank, pistons and rods. Thus custom pistons means you need your block to be sleeved. 300 hp is doable but not without spending some serious cash. You would be better off doing a 87x95 or 87x97 build.

What do you mean by $1 million dude?

Do you have $10k to spend? You'll need at least that much.

FYI, "stage 3 cams" means something completely different from each manufacturer. And also, there is this little part you forgot to mention on your "mods list", no big deal, its called the cylinder head.

yo man, looks like we are trying to do the same thing, check out ebay on a stroker kit for a H22 I know the guy selling it he has been a family friend for years and the only one I have ever taken my cars too, it will run about 1400 for the kit. With a good head and cam gears along with that set you should get close to bout 270. Serously check it out, and let me know how your build is going
