blox/ BPi velocity stacks?
Is the blox and BPi velocity stacks the EXACT same thing?? They look very similiar. inlinefour.com and jhpusa.com sell the blox v. stack. Did blox get their design from BPi and sell it under their own name or is theirs designed differently???
wow, never noticed blox had one.
well i will ask you this one question, can you name one part that blox "makes" that is origional?
ya cant can ya

The BPi is $49.90 and the Blox is $37.00. I know the velocity stack is suppose to help alittle as far as performance wise, but if they're the same and give the same results then I could save $12.00.

Sweet!!! Thats the kind if answer I was looking for. I doubted anyone would have both at the the same time to compare them. I didn't want to just guess by looking at pictures if they were the same.. THANKS

a velocity stack acts as a venturi, which takes the air coming in, and makes it squeeze itself through a smaller opening, which in favor, makes it speed up faster to your intake manifold

I would spend the extra 12 dollars to help line Bryan Pendleton's pockets for all the time he put into the R&D of the product. Blox's production of this unit is some cutthroat ****.http://www.bpinitiatives.com/index.html
I have the BPi version
,
Their customer service was some of the best I have ever had, and the shipping was extremly fast.
I noticed good gains for what it is, and the fact that Blox blaintantly knocked them off identically is pretty sad.

Darn Right!
Bryan did all the R&D and showed us the results as he was doing it. Bryan deserves your money.
Blox copied it. They don't deserve anything.
Anyone who buys the Blox unit to save $12 should be ashamed of themselves.

Ripping products off big companies is one thing, but ripping one guys sole product which he fully r&d'd is a straight kick in the nuts.

If its not patented by BPI then there's no reason not to copy it and sell it for cheaper. Many companies over many years have been doing that. Thats why there's patents and trademarks. Anyway, BPI isn't the original velocity stack. Their design may be different but its not original.

if blox can sell it cheaper and still make money there was a really high mark up anyway... there just trying to save people money and make money themselves.
if its an EXACT copy then thats what patents/trademarks etc. are for.

No wonder no one wants to do real R&D and develope the best parts for Honda's as it will be coppied and the usual E-bay Honda boys will wait for the cheap parts.
I give Brian tons of credit for trying to design the best part he could, knowing it would be ripped of fairly soon, if it worked. Edlebrock has a new manifold that works, fortunatly they cost alot to copy, but it will be.

i have no remorse/regrets for buying from brian. i would buy from brain again.
^^i still even have the original packaging in my closet

um no, it doesnt pull the air through a smaller opening at all the smallest opening is the part that matches up to the intake pipe, and its the same as the intake pipe at 3" (assuming your running a 3" pipe). it helps keep the flow laminar when entering the intake pipe, instead of the flow seperating from making a sharp turn into the pipe.
