It should sound throaty but loud b/c it's a big plenum w/ a wide tip.

I love my magnaflow tip. Nice for 3 inch turbo set ups.

I'd get the ES Oval before Magnaflow.

Remus is even nicer then both mentioned above, IMO.

it's actually 2 3/8 but i really wish it was 2 1/2" for the b-series that i'm building, and you can feel a difference from the thermal to the w/s apexi i used to have, and of course a lot louder too.

IMO a gsr needs more than 2 1/4 really 2 1/2 to flow well on the high side, i've heard a magnaflow on my buddy's b18c5 hatch and it was nice, semi quiet on cruising and throaty on pedal, the ws i had was a bit more quiet but did not produce all the power i wanted, and the thermal isn't so bad until v-tec kicks in.

i've heard of Remus on BMW's and Mercedes and some VW's but not on a Honda yet, and do they provide enough flow for high rpm's?

if it sounds anything like the apexi ws2 (which ive been told) then this is what it sounds like... my old civic b16a2 with short intake, intake mani, 4-1 header, high flow cat, and 2 1/4 inch pipe to apexi ws2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHlnZn8tbCw
