Cali: If this isn`t cool, I don`t know what is...
I have been contacted by Sony to gather quite a few Hondas to attend a lapping day at Laguna Seca. There will be cameras everywhere and they will be using all the footage for "Gran Turismo" promotional material. This event takes place on July 29th and will be free. I`m sure they`ll throw in lunch and what not, too. I post all the details on Monday
Please don`t message me with any questions, to reserve a space, etc.
. I just wanted to give everybody a heads up.

Laguna Seca is a reallllly nice track. Pristine condition, there is definitely a difference between Laguna to Thunderhill and Sears.

I guess the deadline for my car is now pushed up to July 29th. Oh boy. Rewiring. Drop the motor back in. Get it reffed. Get it painted. I think I'm going to quit my 9-5...
just watch out for the crazy s turn. i couldn't even take that turn in my escudo pikes peak edition
So what do you need to have a certain number of track hours or do they just want a bunch of Hondas? How do we get in on it? What are the requirements?

Good, I think GT needs some competition to go further. I think Gran Tourismo is a cool series but you think they could at least make some new tracks even if they are just fictional. Bring on the car damage and rollovers!
Anyway, it's strange that they would be doing this to promote Gran Tourismo years after GT3. Maybe this will be for a GT4 game on the horizon?
