In fact I am very tall and sometimes I have a really big problem in taking curves correctly (legs are long and almost touching the steering wheel, so hands collide with upper legs when taking a 60° curve).....
This way it sometimes makes me look like a beginner (though I am a driver for 13 years) because I have to change the position of my hands two times while taking the curve.
But this is my own-special problem. I`m thinking of trading in my Recaros just to get a pair of del sol seats... or remove airbag and get a smaller wheel.
The point I have in mind is your way to take a 60° curve...
Imagine, you`re running a straight at 90mph and prepare to take this curve.
Which steps does it take to get you fast and safe (slow in, fast out) through this curve??
Think of shifting, braking, rev-matching, throttle............
What is the most effective (fastest) way...... ?
Sorry for my bad english, I`m doing my verys best

That´s great....... and thank you..
But this is a LOT of stuff to read...
I am interested in YOUR special style.
I`ve read "braking and accelerating"...
Well, it doesn`t include the most important point: Rev matching.
Braking down the R from 150km/h to 60km/h makes a huge difference in runsperminute....
HOW do you control the breaking/shifting/revmatching/turning period ???

You heel-toe downshift, get used to the vehicle and rev-matched heel-toes come natural

I like to look across the curve...like if it's a right big sweeper, I'll be looking at my passenger's window. Works for me, and for other stuff, turnfast.com

sorry for being no help, your actually helping me
In the beginning, try not to do everything at the same time.
First try braking only on the straight, don't heel and toe yet. Release clutch before you turn your steering wheel. Find the ideal line.
Slow in fast out means you brake more on the straight, turn in later and sharper but smoothen out the curve-exit line. Then you can step on the gas earlier (use the LSD!!!).
If you get used to it, try heel and toe on the straight while braking and downshifting but do that before you turn your steering wheel.....
After you have mastered this, try braking a little later and harder and at the last piece of the straight release the brake gradually while turning in. You will feel the rear end breaking loose a bit, which is good for turn in (tail braking). Step on the gas as soon as possible but not too soon!!!
I won't swap out the recaros if I were you. Just replace the steering wheel with a smaller one. You'll need the recaros on the track!!! If your legs are too long slide the seat more to the back but put the back more upright.

Keep your left foot on the dead pedal when your not using it...that's my only suggestion cause I can't drive worth a **** apparently
Anyways, I'll trade you a set of del sol seat + rails for your recaros...straight up

The basics of it are to always look where you should or want to go. And, driving position must be conducive to allow you to manipulate the car properly. Noe of that gangsta lean guano.
edit: should be "should" instead of "will".

Hmmm,
so far so good... But I want to know more about REV MATCHINg while doing all this.
The difference in rpm is huge when you come to a curve in, let`s say 4th speed and you want to downshift to 2nd ...
You`ll have to match the revs from 4k to 7k, which takes time to let them climb...
This is my (main)-problem..
I have no probs when riding motorcycle, because I shiftit without using the clutch.
But shifting down from a higer to a low gear, match revs, braking..........hmmm.

Go to 3rd under inital braking and then when you are finished braking go for second.
Use the engine brake to help keep the revs near where you need them.. (don't over rev)
There are very few tracks (in the US) that require a shift to 2nd... usually they can be taken in 3rd.
A video on track..
