Loose Shifter
The shifter in my 1993 civic D15b7 is pretty loose left to right when I'm in gear. Doesn't pop kick out of gears and it's tight front to back. Any simple fixes before I get my short shifter?

Not for side to side while In gear.
Take a look at your Shift linkage "bitch" pin.

what do you me while i'm down there. I have a lift. It's all up for me. but the problem is i'm not quite sure what I'm looking for. I get my new short shifter on monday from pace setter and My energy suspention bushings should come in close to then, but what's the bitch pin and where do I get a replacement.

its the pin that holds the linkage to the tranny, i think its called a gator pin or something. sometimes when people loose them they try to put a screw threw there and is ***** it up

Just to keep people updated... I got a Pace Setter short throw, and I'm waiting for my Energy Suspension bushings to come in the mail. I still haven't worried about the Bitch pin, but I'll probably just check it out while i'm putting all my new fun stuff in.
Never heard people call it a bitch pin, but damn thats an appropiate name for it. Its a cinch to get out if you have the right tool but for some reason Ive never been able to put it back in all the way (until I take it back out).
had the same problem and it wasnt the shift linkage it was acually the shifter it sell the part that bolt into the shift linkag the rubber o-rings got fucked up and coused it to have play
make sure the bolt that connects the shift linkage to the shifter is tight. If someone else did it, they may not have adjusted it correctly since you can tighten it to your preference
