question about start up procedure
The D light is supposed to come on (for two seconds) when the ignition is turned on. The transmission computer is checking the system at this time. If the light stays on, or starts flashing, that would indicate a problem, and trouble codes would probably be stored in the computer's memory.
so what if it takes five minutes to turn on and off the first time i start my car for the day but comes very quickly when the car has been recently ran? more importantly, is this gonna be a cheap or easy fix?
edit: no flashing, or cel. just takes for ever to turn on.
