Shift Linkage Bushing Questions?
94 Civic Hatch with a B18B LS motor
I’m trying to figure out if the bushing by the shifter is a d-series bushing or b-series. I know the bushing by the tranny have to be a LS bushing but im kinda not sure abut the one that look like a D shape for the shifter?
I believe that in order to do the complete LS swap you need to have the LS shift linkage correct? So if we need to change the shift linkage bushing it will have to be a B-Series Bushing which is the Integra LS model correct?
So how hard is it to change the shift linkage bushing? Is it a DIY type of job or take it to the shop? If it’s not that bad I would like to do for my friend. I did take a look at it and it seems like straight forward. I’m just worry a bit because of the exhaust pipe but maybe if I unhook it will be out of the way.
I was thinking of telling my girlfriend to just pick up the bushing from Auto Zone or Advance Auto. And maybe tomorrow after work I’ll give a shot at taking it off and swap out the bushing for her car.
Well I hope you guys could help answer some of my questions. Oh yeah is there a must have special tool I might need to do this job? Alright thanks for your time I hope you guys could help me out.

Get energy suspension from Honda-Tech marketplace -- or eBay (if you want to pay out the ***). It's not very hard to do. Sorry, can't help you on what kinda bushing it is
the bushing by the shifter is the same D or B series
it's just two bolts it it will come down and the bushing will slide off (remove shift **** first) the most you may have to do with the exhaust is pop it out of the hanger and just move it aside an inch or so.

Correct, the b and d series bushings are the same.
I decided to try the prothane bushings as they're supposed to be a little stiffer.
next time I want to try some aluminum shifter bushings though.

When I did it on my hatch, it took some considerable muscle to push the old bushing out by the tranny. Be sure to have some lube handy.... GL
