Default Help with alarm

I just wanted to start with saying there was no problem yesterday until around the afternoon today. I was driving home I heard a clicking sound from my alarm. When I got home and I armed my car (it usually beeps pretty loud) and the sound when armed was extremely faint. I then disarmed it and the sound was still very faint. I armed one more time and the sound sounded very weak like it was out of power kind of. Has anyone had this kind of problem with their alarms. It's a viper alarm, I don't know what kind it is or how old it is because it came with the car when I got it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to wait more then 10min. before bumping.

The first thing I would check is the alarms ground lead. [black]. 94

Amen to that... Seriously...

Anyways, if you promise to be more patient around here, I'll offer some advice..

If the ground is good, and by good I mean not corroded or loose, then it could be a bad siren... Or bad siren output...

Siren output would be easy to test by measuring the output on the brown wire off the alarm with a meter...

The siren itself would be pretty easy to test, considering your battery is right nearby...
