2000 Civic DX LS Swap Questions???
Ok guys I need some help. I just finished mounting a 2000 LS motor with manual transmission into a 2000 Civic DX Automatic. I got everything in and did the auto to manual change. Now Im doing all of this so that the car can be legal so keep this in mind when answering my questions. I am using the Civic DX Automatic engine wire harness with some modifications and extensions. Obviously, the auto transmission plugs will remain disconnected and some plugs are modified (the IACV and the Crank Sensor are modified since the LS are 2 wire and the Civic are 3 wire). Ive already done the pin modification at the ecu as well since there are a couple of wires that need to be changed (fuel pump pin needs to be moved over and one of the IACV pins needs to be moved over and the other needs to be disconnected). Now I have also made the modification at the shift box for the starter to work since this was an automatic (the two fat wires are connected to each other). I know that the ECU from the integra has an immobilizer and as such will need to be removed before it can work with the civic. I have already talked to a friend from acura who will take care of this for me. But now here is my question. I put a jumper harness so that I can use an OBD1 LS ecu on the car in the mean time. Plugged everything in and the car will not start. Checked for spark and its there. Checked gas and no gas. Checked power at pump and no power. Checked all fuses and all are good. Changed the main relay just to make sure that wasnt it with a new one and still no power to pump. So finally, I hooked up the pump directly to ignition so that it comes on as soon as the ignition is turned on. Now I have gas at the filter and this the rail. Tried to start the car again and nothing. Still wont start. It cranks but just will not start. Im thinking that the injectors are not opening. Is this true? Also, after trying it a couple more times, I noticed now that not even the check engine light comes on any more. Why is this? Any help would be appreciated.
