Alright here's a pretty simple question. Will Civic VX wheels fit over the calipers on my 1996 CX hatchback? I know the bolt pattern is the same, but clearing the caliper is my concern. I've seen them on Ef Civics and CRXs, but never on an EK or EJ.

 

From what I remember hearing the offset isn't right. It will come in contact with the caliper. Also, there is a poor selection of 13" tires that will fit your 96 hatchback, keep that in mind.

 

I apreciate your help but it still isn't a definitive answer, and as far as tires, they have 175/70r13 which is the exact same size as what is on my 1996 CX so I have no idea what you meant by there being a poor selection of tires that will fit my 1996 hatchback.

 

i know they wont fit over the ex coupe brakes for that year.. not sure if that helps but that's all i know

 

they fit fine on cx/dx's

 

Yes...the cx/dx front brakes are smaller than the ex/si.
