How do i set the idle on a 03 honda accord?

 

you don't have to set 03 accord idle, normally your ECU take care your Idle, if your idle is rough - then you may have other problems in your Engine...

check your plugs, wires...distributor etc...let us know

Well i put a 300amp highoutput alt on and my idle is to a little too slow and not turning the alt fast enough and only putting out 12.09 volts. so i need to speed it up just a little.

 

I'm having similar problem with my 03 accord. Didn't drive it for two weeks ....now it will start up ...but die right away ...I have to keep the gas pedall around 600-700 RPM or it will dies ....
Any ideas????

 

You can adjust it a little with the screw on the upper part of the throttle body. Its above the air intake, right in the throttle body itself. Might give you the little bit of adjustment you need. Otherwise, you'll have to check the components and see why you're low. Diagrams are in some of the maintenance manuals.

 

Do you have a picture of it or a link of where this screw located?
I thought all the new cars controll by computer....so you cannot adjust anything?

 

I think a tech with those new realtime computers they have at Honda or Acura can adjust it a little bit. So let me get this straight, you put a bigger alternator on your car for bigger power? Did you put another battery or a larger battery in?
