HOW much psi do u put in slicks. NEED HELP
i have a honda civic with a 98 type r motor swap. and i am running 14in slicks. what psi should i put in the slicks. i also have aftermarket axels. thanks
You can try starting out at around 11~12 psi and adjust from there. A lot depends on your car, suspension, and track conditions.
no tube but i always mark the tire/rim to make sure it does not spin on the rim,
the only tire rim combo i use is lenzos & m&h tires i am not sure about other rims i would assume the same but dunno?

I don't think he needs to run that low of pressure with that little power. He would probaly lose mph with the additional rolling resistance from the lack of air in the slicks. I would use 12 psi cold as a starting point and go from there.

I had the best results at 11psi on a stock motor. M&H 8x13x23 with tubes. Too low and it just doesn't pull as hard. I was told unless you have lots of power, too low of pressure will cause a roll to form on the front of the tire and fight you all the way down the track. Not sure if that is BS but it makes sense to me. I've tried half PSI increments from 16 to 6. For me at around 150 HP at the wheels, 11psi works best.

if you have 14" rim, likely your running 20x8x14 MT's, on a 6" wide rim they like about 12 psi, depending on how good they can "grab" the rim. If I went belowe 12 psi I would just spin them on the rims.

Start out about 9-10psi andthen work your way down. Play with your launch RPM as well
I wouldn't just start at 6-7psi , you can start as high as 12psi or so and work your way down, depends on howmuch power you are making as well
