Default Need new rims

I was thinking about getting new Slipstreams for my 2001 Prelude.
I was wondering what size would you recommend and what kind of tire
I also wanted to know where's the best place to find a good price on them.

0. THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE FORUM
1. Check the FAQ for answers before you post a new topic.
2. Search! You'd be amazed how many things have been covered before. Be sure to try "Archived Topics" too. Try Google as well!
3. When asking a question please include all details that are necessary (car, wheel size, intended use, etc) for someone to make informed response.
4. Make meaningful thread titles so people can figure out what you're asking or talking about simply by reading it. I will rename threads.
4b. Do not use all capital letters in thread titles.
5. No for sale ads or requests.
6. This is a technical forum, please keep it that way. I will be accepting picture request threads until the archive fills up.
6b. No opinion threads for wheels (e.g. "Which wheel will look better on my car?", "What color wheels should I get?")
7. Bump once and if you still don't get the info you're looking for just let it die.
8. Be courteous, use your brain.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Either:
16x6.5 with 205/50-16 tires

Or:
17x7 with 205/45-17 tires

Or:
17x7.5 with 215/40-17 tires

Someone else can advise you on the best offset with these widths.

If you need to use these tires occasionally in snow as well as in moderate to warmer temperatures the rest of the year, you will need all-season tires. I recommend:

205/50-16 Kumho ASX $71
205/45-17 Avon Tech M550 A/S $99
215/40-17 Kumho ASX $86

If you don't need to use them in winter - like if you have winter tires, or another vehicle, for winter use - then you can get summer tires. I recommend:

For both performance and value:
205/50-16 Avon Tech M500 $76
205/45-17 Kumho SPT $93
215/40-17 Avon Tech M500 $84

For better performance, but at a higher price:
205/50-16 Goodyear F1 GS-D3 $112.50 after rebate
205/45-17 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx $128
215/40-17 Goodyear F1 GS-D3 $140.50 after rebate
