some electrical problems on a new car
So i bought a 94 ej1 shell and ran into a problem after the swap.
My left turning signal stays illuminated when the parking lights/headlights are on. and when the lights are off the climate control and clock blinks as if it were the turning signal
the previous owner had jdm headlights w/citylights and sidemarkers. any ideas? i was thinking maybe a bad ground?
thank you in advance.

Basic answer sounds like the lines got switched for the clock, climate and the turn signal. If the previous owner had cut the harness when wiring in the side markers etc the wires could have been switched.
Difficult answer could be that the climate control and clock are shorting to ground on the headlight switch but Id check the lines first. If the difficult answer is the case then assume the turn signal is shorting too.
Try and find a body electrical short finder, those things are magic.
