So I got a pulley kit a while back from AEM and i ******* hate it. looks great but blows ***. Anyways I was wondering if anyone knew of the issue where when you have a/c running and you shift above 3000 rpms your engine makes a high pitch noise. it's as if the pulley kit scraped against something or some crap.

any help?

AEM not picking up phone...

 

the belt is either on too tight or the pulley is misaligned

 

I had it professionally installed at a garage. When I took off it made the noise so I went back to the same guy. He has does his own engine swaps etc so I can trust his knowledge on what he said.

He tightened it up a little more because of the screech but it still did it. he was saying it's aem's problem but i don't know man. how would it be misaligned?
