Tein SS or Koni/GC
Basically $ 750.00 for Koni Yellows and Ground Control Coilovers or $ 950.00 for Tein SS Coilovers.
Which would you choose? I am definately thinking about either the two but can't make a decision. If I decide not to purchase the Teins then I am going to buy the Konis/GCs. But if I get the Teins, there is always the option of adding the EDFC kit to electronically adjust the dampening rates. So which to choose?

experienced both, and would only use the koni yellows and gc coil overs. If you find the springs aren't stiff enough they are only like $150 to order a stiffer pair.

Koni/GC or PICs are the current flavor. PIC support seems to be growing with their support of ITR expo and the racing scene.
I do love my Koni/GC setup but if I needed to buy a new setup today I'd definitely look into the PIC Selects (adjustable) since their price is very competitive and they don't seem to have the leaking problem of so many of their similar looking cousins.

You fell for that gimmick too?
GC/Koni Yellow for sure. Low end Teins are overpriced.

I just ordered a set of PIC R3s but with your price range KONI/GC is the way to go. You may think about the PIC Apex coilovers. But you'll lose the ability to adjust damping, compared to the Koni Yellows.
Screw tein, since there production moved to china there quality hasn't been as good as it was when it was produced here.
I am choosing GC/Koni Yellows. Plus the upgradability if your driving habits change like spring rate and re-valving the struts is worth it in the long run.
