Linkage Bushing
I'm trying to figure out a cheap way to repair my shift linkage bushing. This is the bushing that is on the end of the linkage that connects to the shifter. Its the bigger of the two, and I just wondered what some suggestions might be. I'm just planning on a rubber bushing from a hardware store. Shaving it down to the right size, and then installing a bolt and nut. Just seeing if there is any specific materials I should use.
Depending on the condition of the bushings you already have, you might be able to use urethane to fill the cracks and bring it back to life. They sell urethane at hardware stores for window caulking and things like that. good luck

That bushing is gone. It fell through the floor on my swapped Civic. I know it sounds bad, but when you bring the linkage up through, you need to cut a hole in the floor. So, I'm starting with scratch. Unfortunately, Honda does not sell that invididual bushing.
