Car stalling above 4k rpms on highway

Car stalling above 4k rpms on highway
Just as title says. It will pull to 8k on the other gears but when cruising on the highway and I go above 4k rpms the engine cuts out then it come back on about 3k rpms? I just had the coil and distributor replaced.
