Newbie, first post~I want some suggestion on 2000 Accord EX
2000 Accord EX 4D Sedan, 4-Cyl, V-TEC
It seems there was a manufacture recall in 2005, and the transmission is changed. Other than that, I don't know anything about the potential problem of the car.
I have to make decision before evening. Thank you very much!!!

Are you asking if you should buy it?
If so, how many miles, and how much $$$ ? Are you buying from an individual or a car dealer? Does it come with maintenance records? Automatic or manual transmission? What condition is the car?
If you are asking about potential problems, the main problem is the automatic transmission. Door lock actuators can be a problem - where the door locks won't lock / unlock except by hand. And wind / road noise if you drive with the windows down.

Auto, 79k miles, $6300, first owner, individual in houston, TX. She doesn't have any maintenance records, except a $300 tune-up she did on last friday (including alignment, sth washing/flushing, sorry I don't understand cars at all, so I don't know what other tune-up she did)
About the transmission, she changed it in 2005 (as what she told me), in Carfax report, it's like"Service contract claim, Engine serviced" by "Service Plan Co."
Will that a potential problem?
There are three dents on the hood, but painting is totally fine. She told me the car hit a SUV sightly and the front part went under the SUV, so there is no hurt to engine.
That's all I know. When I test drive it, everything works OK. Just the braking system, I need to press harder and the distance seems longer. (compare with a 98 Mazda I used to drive)
Thank you again~

Check the value of the car on http://www.edmunds.com . If it seems in line, go for it.
