Default Is the thread pitch for the vtec pressure switch the same is the engine oil pressure switch?

Hey. I have an obd2 gsr engine that does not have a vtec pressure switch. I need to run one for my ecu so I need to drill and tap the hole in this solenoid. I ordered a switch from honda but it is not here tull friday. I would like to drill and tap my solenoid now but I dont know the thread pitch. I have a engine oil pressure switch right here and I wanted to know if it is the same thread pitch as the vtec oil pressure switch?

wow...you have to be a honda guru/god to know the answer to that question.

I would ASSume that they would be the same. K.I.S.S. would be a Honda understatement.

I am assuming as well but what I do NOT want to happen is me tap it out to the engine oil pressure switch then go to install the v-tec oil pressure switch when it gets here and have it be wrong. So, does anyone know for sure?
