ok.. So i have a 96 prelude OBD2 H23 that i put a 94 OBD1 H22 into. The car was automatic and the new ECU is also an automatic. I got a boomslang conversion harness for it and installed everything but the car doesnt run right. The shift lock doesn't release with the key and the car starts off in 2nd gear. No CEL's came on but the transmission just isnt working right. Anyone know what i need to do to fix this? Thanks.

 

You're not going to find a whole lot of in depth help for the automatic on this site, not a lot of ppl deal with those too much.

Are you saying that even though the shifter is in park and the engine is on, the dash says its in second gear? If so I would say the shifter assembly is either messed up or just not plugged in right.
