have a 95 sel sol that my motor is going out in and it has the d16 sohc in it and I'm trying to figure out a affordable way of making it go a bit faster or even just get it up to par. I found this on ebay and I was hoping to get some input on it and maybe some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Doesn't sound too bad. Though it won't make your car much faster IF it makes your car any faster.

depends where you live man. If you are near jersey at all, i know of a place called JDM Engine depot and my boy picked up a d15b with tranny for $800. They are reliable, i put the motor in my friend's car, and it runs smooth as can be. They have a 30 day startup warranty and i personally will vouch for them. If you need more info, just lemme kno. Otherwise, my alternate option would just be going to hmotorsonline because they are the best source if you aren't around jersey.

 

I live in Oregon and I dont know anyone around here that has a good rep for doing honda work.

 

I do have someone that has a b18c that they are willing to sell to me but they dont have the tranny. How hard would it be to swap that into my car?
