Default post your high comp stock bore/stroke b16 motors!!

i'm still going between the fact of building my b16 which i already have, or dishing out some extra cash to get a 2.0l bottom end, and building that

obviously the power will be easier to get from the 2.0, but what i'm more looking for is reliability and fun. i don't care about making 230+ whp right now, but i just want to have a lot of fun on the track, car's gonna be doing road racing mostly

tranny is gonna be a race tranny pretty much, ats 1-5 gears, quaife lsd, and ats 4.8 FD

head is gonna be stock port jobs, blox valvetrain (springs, retainers, + valves), blox hsl camshafts, blox intake manifold with blox 68mm throttle body and 3" intake, i might mill the head a bit, not sure how much yet

block i'm planning on doing something high compression, around 11.5 range, 2 layer hg, stock crank, maybe upgrade the rods + rod bolts, also gonna be using arp head studs

i know there are guys out there with some good power on a stock bore/stroke b16, just need some influence before i start ordering parts =P

no dyno #'s for mine tensioner locked up (replace your timing belt tensioner) and destroyed my motor.

but i did go 13.5 @ 99.8mph with a 1.9 60ft on nitto 555R drag radials keep in mind this was untuned and vtec crossover was too low
my setup:
B16A
milled .020
omni dual valve springs
omni Ti retainers
omni flat valves
Buddy Club spec 3+ cams
Buddy Club cam gears
Buddy club head gasket
3ang valve job
JDMshit intake manifold
proffesional products 65mm TB
profab intake gasket
hytech productions tri-y header

its in a stripped down 91 hatch (no heat, no a/c, no wipers, no radio, no nothing)

i'd strongly recommend injectors with your setup.
