Default anybody in South Bend, Indiana area?

Little early, but I`ll be there in July for a Kumho/tire rack ride and drive event. Anything to do? I`ll be there for two days and then driving to Fort Wayne for another 3 to visit family.

I was just there Wed. When in July are you going to be there? Gingerman Raceway is only about and hour and a half north. You can do a test and tune for $50 tues-thurs 5:30-9.

Gee, Ed, I'm surprised you would recommend a track event with no classroom instruction and no EMT and no insurance for participants and...

BTW, GingerMan is about 50 miles north of South Bend and you should be able to make it there in no more than an hour - even on a Memorial Day weekend when all the roads are heavily patrolled. (I came to the ITR Expo 2002 that way.)

Hmmmm let me ponder this.

Gman test and tune:
$50 3+ hours of track time, no insurance, no EMT.

or

'02 xpo
$300(originally) ~3 hrs track time, no insurance, no EMT, and a $25 mediocre meal.

Don't get me wrong the expo had infinitely more value to me then the test n' tunes every week, but that's what you get when you break down the $.
