94 Accord - ACT 6 puck clutch on the street
I've got a 94 accord 2.2 SOHC vtec. I need to change the clutch and I'm thinking of using an ACT HA3-XTG6 clutch. Does anyone know how rough the engagement is on this clutch. This is my daily driver, and it see's mostly freeway use. Currently it only has a header, exhaust, a cam gear, and aftermarket mounts. Next upgrades would be fuel system and nitrous.
Evil monkey is right, a six puck is not needed for your mods, but if your going to change the clutch might as well only do it one time. Alothough you might want to look into a nice street/race disc. Something more streetable than a six puck. Unless you want t huge left leg!
I understand that clutch will hold more torque than I currently require but don't want to end up changing it again later. What I'm really looking for is a lighter clutch asm that will rpm out better and will keep up with future mods. I'm planning on using the pro-lite flywheel as well. What I really need to know is how rough is the engagement. Is there anyone running one of the 4 or 6 puck clutches on the street that can let me know what to expect?
Haha expect to use two feet on the clutch....it's not fun....honestly, listen to these guys, Unless your building a drag racer for the track, and you're putting some hefty power to the ground, buy your self an ACT Street Disc. That is plenty of responsive clutch action, more than you'll need for your F22, more than i need for my H22, it's plenty!!!!

stage 2 clutch by ACT is a great street clutch. It will keep up with your future mods, and more than likely will be the last clutch you put into the accord. Look into a lighter flywheel as well. Fidanza has an amazing 6 pound flywheel that will help delivery tq, and hp to the wheels.
