nonOBD vs OBD1/2
To which motor are you referring? The power gains all depend on which motor you are talking about. Actually, there is little difference between 'OBD0' and 'OBDI'. In fact, the setup commonly referred to as 'OBD0' is really nothing more than an earlier version of what is referred to as 'OBD1'. After all, 1988-1991 ECUs DO have an on board diagnostics system. When it comes to performance, the two systems ('OBD0' and 'OBD1') are actually quite equal as well. It is only when you use an 'OBD0' ECU intended for a less powerful motor that power output suffers (ie stock SI ECU with D16Z6, 1990-1991 PR4 ECU with a 1992+ B18A/B18B, or PR3/PW0 with a B18C).
