Default 01 gsr in 94 civic smog legal?

Well, I just got a 01 gsr in my 94 civic, running obd1 ecu and i'm trying to get it state ref'd. Will it work or will i run into trouble? What would I need to do to have it pass the state ref? I know it will pass the pipe test just fine, but how about the rest? I've got the stock intake, headers, etc in there, but only have one o2 hooked up and still need to hook up evap. Has anyone had an obd2 swap into obd1 vehicle and have it ref'd? Need help...

if you have pretty much everything stock including a cat and all the emission stuff hooked up then you should be fine..

If he does not notice that it is an 01 motor.

You should have OBDII for it to be done correctly. In CA that is.

You also have to have all the OBDII emissions hooked up. In CA that is.

Any aftermarket parts such as header,CAI... have to have C.A.R.B. #'s

You will need a second O2 sensor in the cat, the purge valve on the fuel rail(should have came with the motor), the vent solenoid on the canister (you should have one), the fuel tank pressure sensor (for evap purge control), the crankshaft fluctuation sensor (should also be on the motor. You will also of course need the PCM for that motor, and the OBD port (not sure if Honda put the OBD2 standard plug in the 92-95 cars ahead of the game)

The gas tank pressure sensor is gonna be the hard one, because I don't know how you are gonna modify the tank covers to fit that in there...

The motor should be fine, as long is it is compliant with that vehicle years emissions or better, which could be hard because you'd have to smog the car based on the original engines emission specifications.
