all wheel disk brakes on crx ...how much?
i have then engine running now, so now i am interested in putting all wheel disk brakes from the 90-93 integra. any certain year i should try for. and how much do you think this entire swap should cost. just a guess if i go to junk yard and get all parts? thanks guys
I say $100-$200 for both rear arms. But think about it, would you trust your safety to calipers that have been sitting outside in the weather? I know some have found set ups that are reletively clean and function well still. I would think about it.

Well, actually you still have the fronts, which are what you use now.
I just finished a swap on my '88 CRX Si last night. I got the rear trailing arms, calipers, and brake cables from a '91 for $200 at a junkyard here in Western PA.
The rotors were covered in rust and beyond having them turned down. I bought two new Brembos for about $50.00 from a local parts place.
I used about $10.00 in cleaners ,degreasers and penetrating spray cleaning up the new and old parts to make it easier to work on everything. Being the cheap *** that I am, I just sanded the brake pads that came from the junk yard to give them a nice surface.
Then we bolted everything up and I found the piston in the left caliper to be hung up. I got two remanned calipers from Advance Auto for $54.00 each and installed them using some $8.00 Performance Friction brake fluid to bleed out the entire brake system (front and back).
Total cost: $376 bucks in parts. I could have spent more if I had swapped out the bushings at the same time but I had enough fun for two nights and skipped it for now.
I DID NOT swap out the master cylinder and proportioning valve and now the brake pedal travel is considerably longer than before. The car still seems to stop with no problems, but the pedal feels completely different than it did before.
I will be autocrossing the car this weekend so I'll make my final judgement after the event. It sure looks like I'll be upgrading the master cylinder in the future if I could just figure out which one bolts right up....

yo justin, Phil could get you, but you could easily do this yourself. It would be easiest to get the parts from a 91 as stated above. It should take you less than a day to get it done. As for the pedal feel, I know nothing about that, no experiance there. sorry

ok, well..... what would be everybody's suggestion for this. if i wanted bigger disks all around. not just the rear crx Si brakes. i woudl like to run crossdrilled/ slotted rotters on all 4. maybe one day buy better calipers. and i'll get better pads. i am not sure how much slotted rotters cost though? i want to do it right and stop faster without the brakes shaking and crap. somebody post what year/make/model car. and what parts wi would need if i planned on buying the cross drilled and slotted rotters? and again, a guess at a price range? just tring to figure out if this is something i can plan on doing soon? thanks everybody
