Aircraft Remover FTW....no seriously.
This stuff is the fantastic,it works soo well on metal and glass thats is almost comical that u spent time sandind or scraping on what ever it was u were trying to remove.
I have a friend who paints and he said to pick some up,said it would work well on my valve cover, which had 3 layers or ceramic coated paint on it(from the previous owner),so I went down to the paint shop and got some....it was like 18$ for the container,a quart maybe,so I naturally was thinking that this stuff had better work for near 20$.I used it and was amazed with how fast and efficient it worked on paint that I had tried sand beforehand.Within a minute or so ,realtime,it had almost bubbled all of it off.
Then this weekend I decided, instead of paying somebody 100$ to srape the bubbled tint off of my rear window, that I would try the UBER strength remover on the back window, since it had no warning not to use on glass. And let me say that I have tried everything...including a razor blade to get this tint off several different times and failed, needless to say within minutes the tint was soo easy to remove that I could wipe it off with a shop towell.
This stuff is extremely toxic, and if u get on your skin.....u will pay for it,haha, its very very hot on the skin, trust me.And the fumes are horrible to breath, but I later found that they have a low odor form of it at wall mart for like 8$,made by the same company KLEEN STRIP.So if anybody is having trouble removing paint or tint,or anything from metal or glass, try it out.

An easy-to-get and very good quality stripper is Klean-strip KS3. It's available at Home Depot, Lowes, etc and comes in a rectangular can like was said.

No it will not remove the defrosters, and as far as just heating and scraping, not on mine....it was this wierd 2 layers of film,1 was clear, the other dark, and adhesive inbetween.I tried everything...seriously its not worth my time listing them all because it would take forever.
I just wrapped a tshirt around my nose and mouth and honestly the fumes werent that bad....but it def would burn my eyes, and if I removed the tshirt.....I would nearly pass out,no joke. And to answer the question about the container,it actually comes in both spray bottles and regular cans, mine was in the can,and i applied it with a small brush.

powder coats are electrically charged particles of color that are bonded to the metal. I've tried stripper on an annodized piece with no luck at all...it did brighten it up quite a bit but the annodizing proved too strong. Powder coating and annodizing are similar so I'd go with no, but give it a try you never know
The guy at the paint shop said it may or may not work on powder coating, said just to try it out.
And yes Ive heard of googles and a mask....but I didnt have any avilable, and I was broke over the weekend,so sunglasses and a shirt had to do.
