Drive line clicking noise
Hello everybody,
I drive a 96 Accord EX Auto, with about 163.000 miles on the clock. I had the car since 77K on it. But now it has developed a clicking noise while I'm driving. First i thought it might be my engine, but that got canceled out when i ran a little experiment. I put my car in N and shut it off, and let it roll at 25 mph. But it was still clicking, did anybody have this kind of clicking noise? This sucks, because i do alot of preventive maintenance and never race my car just occasional spirited driving. The car is stock, and driven on the highway daily. It cant be my CV joints, because I had the CV boots replaced before they went out.
Ohh and i forgot to mention, its a very low clicking noise. You hear it most when you are driving close to a wall, or anything that will bounce sound back at you.
Thank you in advance.
