1/4 mile GSR
i Want to know what a BONE STOCK GSR runs in the 1/4 mile. ive been trying to find out but everywhere i go i get different times. Ive heard times from 15.0-16.0.
Any educated people that really know or have a GOOD guess want to help thanks..

the reason you have seen 15.0 - 16.0 is because thats the truth, some people are better drivers, some people get better conditions, some people have nicer motors (lower miles, rarely redlined...etc)
I have seen a stock gsr run a 14.9 but i have also seen one run a 16.7. If you want a true answer to your question... take it to the track.

the thing is i put that with a good driver they could run 15s real low and HT bashed my ***..but i coulda swore i was right. so 14 flat isnt too far away..right??

Were you in kill stories when they "bashed" you? They will bash you for anything and everything in there.
What are you getting to? You want a gs-r that will run 14.0?

No I dont think you will be able to beat him, but you never know you might have a pretty good tuner. Your going to need 190-200WHP to break into the 13's with a decent driver.

the thing is i know for a fact im a better driver...thats wut gives me hope becuase if i drove his car and he drove mine i would destroy him while he drives my car....i dont know but im going to run him once it tuned..ALSO if i put ITR pistons and it raises my CR itll give me more power and maybe low 14.s

so 190-200whp will break 13's in a full interior integra ?

My car weighs just as much as an integra and with 197 WHP I ran a 13.87 so I figured someone with around the same numbers would be able to run the same times...

Pistons are a good choice for a setup like yours. With some high CR pistons and a nice tune you will be looking at the low 14's. If he is really a bad driver than you might be able to beat him. My friend just bought an STi and has no idea how to launch a AWD or turbo car. I beat him off the line and was still ahead at 110mph but he was catching up quick so I shut off. If he knew how to launch/drive that thing I would be toast.

Not as much as those pistons would. But it will still add a little bit of power.

Depending on the driver, weather, track conditions, etc. I've seen bone stock gsr's run 14.7-16.5....but typically with an average driver, I tend to see 15.4 qtr mile times.

Switch your GSR tranny over to a Type R tranny. The LSD and Shorter gears will help you improve your acceleration, and evenly spread out power to both wheels instead of more power going to one wheel and less to the other! if you can't afford the whole type R tranny then atleast buy an LSD for your GSR tranny!

A type r tranny is like gold and very expensive, you would be better off buying an aftermarket LSD (if thats what you really want) and a nice set of pistons.

Nice LSD for the money.

For his all motor setup dont you think 1500 dollars for an ITR tranny is a little over kill? He already has a GSR tranny that has pretty good gearing. He can get a LSD like the one I posted and pistons for cheaper than that, and it will do him alot better than an ITR tranny.
Dont waste your money on an ITR tranny, better things can be bought.

just sell all your NA **** and boost it....i've seen Hondas (even Ds) with less than a grand into them run in the low 13s. I put a few $$'s into mine and ran a 13.3 at 115mph....my 60' times suck, but i'm working on it
Good gearing VS. Great gearing and a better final drive, on an N/A Car I'll take the Great gearing all day.
How is that tranny overkill, if it were why would honda put it into the ITR?! with a type R tranny you are going to accelerate quicker than you would with a gsr tranny. Again with any N/A car you want shorter gears, if he were using a turbo i would say use the gsr tranny because the gearing is longer!!!
