Hey i've narrowed down the choices for my first car. Either a Honda prelude or an Acura integra.

prelude year ranging from 97-01 -se model basically the base model or i might get the sh model, one model above the base one.

or

integra year ranging from 97-01 -rs model, or gs if i can find one for the price range im in

Both cars are in the same price range and all from 7 - 10k price range with rougly around the same clicks on the motors.

honest opinions and why you would do it.

 

This is an integra forum most everyone will say integra and so will I. For 7-10k you could get nice 98-01 GSR. Preludes look to big and bulky to me. I like the nice sporty look of the 98-01's

 

Gsr all the way i love mine an its small and tight .

 

im not looking into getting a gsr as i will get raped on insurance. I have got quotes and for being 17 insurance will be more then the car i buy in a year and a half of payments. For just an ordinary integra it will be around the same price as the prelude's insurance as they are both high.

I like both cars but right now leaning more toward the prelude because its a nice car that i dont have to be paranoid with getting stolen and there more powerful then the integra's other then the gsr.

As for the integra i like it because its easier to drive stick on then a prelude for beginners like me.

the prelude is a lil cramped on the inside.

 

my brother actually has a prelude and its not so bad for me im 5'10 and i dont find it to big or to small for me. If your above 6'1 or 6'2 thats a problem but my height is alright for it. I've been in the teg aswell my cousin has one. Its a little more roomy then the prelude. I must say i like the prelude interior better then i do the integra except for the rears, but who cares its not like im gonna be in the back on the lude or have anyone back there.

I also like the lude because not alot of people have it as much as the integra. Right now my decision is going the ludes way more
