will the hood fit into the rear of the car???
I have to take my car back to Tampa tonight... ~300 miles and because of my accident my hood won't close. So my question is (with clear sky's depending) can I take the hood off (only one side is still latched onto the hinges) and stick it in my trunk? ...and close the hatch. Thanks
I know... and i think Florida is one of them. I'm just hoping that with the front end being smashed and the hood in the car with me, that if I get pulled over I'll be able to explain that I'm headed right for a body shop.
Yes, it fits without a problem...I did that 2 weeks ago, purchased a CF hood from a friend, installed it, threw the stock hood in the "trunk" and drove the 600 miles home.

Awesome. Good to hear. Unfortunately this is my carbon fiber hood that has to go back there, and that is slightly damaged.
At least its repairable.
One more quick question. Is there any special way it has to go in? like diagnal from top right to bottom left or anything? I just have to get on the road right after work so i don't want to be fussing with it. Thanks
