Default 5th gear noise

when shifting into 5th it makes a low/vibrating noise, only when going over 50 mph but its not grinding because you can only hear it low inside the car. im going to change my tranny fluid but i was told it could be my linkage because of my short shifter. all the gears going in perfect and i have a 6 month old clutch. any other ideas of what it could be or what i could do. thanks

5th gens have a very common grinding (or whatever) problem with 5th gear, the Honda people said its because of a misaligned shift fork

some people have said that by using the new Honda MTF it's fixed their 5th gear grind, maybe u should check it out
