Want to build a tranni with better gear ratios for the 1320 but wasnt sure what the best would be.
Type R Tranny with a gsr third and jdm Final drive?
is what i was going to put together but i want too see peoples opinions

 

depends on slick size combo,track conditions, etc etc, Give me run down on what you think you are going to do...

We run different fd ratios depending on the track conditions etc.

 

it depends on your motor application, all motor or boost ? if boost or very powerful all motor with long duration cams, keep 3-5 very tight, keep 1-2 long with close ratio FD like ATS or JDM

its a street motor pushing 200 hp to the wheels. Using it for light to light racing as well as just driving around town. Would like to keep stock b16a final drive but want faster tranny on the street i know it has to be possible.

Drag car is still not under weigh. Building something that is nice to drive around in but still fast. rebuilding suspension and every little thing that is wrong or creeking with the car making it as nice and comfortable to drive as possible

 

I just finished doing the following gears for my J1 tranny and it make the car feel way better .!! but haven't gone to the strip yet.. but I'm sure it will make a big differance

2) 2.10
3) 1.66
4) 1.33
5) 1.00

 

sounds good but i mean where do i get ahold of the indvidual gear ratio's?
