As others have mentioned, that JDM front end is going to be your killing point.
Completely, 100% stock, with 17k on it and your looking around the 22k area. As is with JDM front end, don't expect much more than maybe 18-19k.
Sucks too!!! That would have been really nice to keep locked up somewhere...
Also leads one to ponder why the front end was installed?

Since there is a 100% stock 97 ITR W/ 3900 for 21k, i would price this car at 17-19 tops.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Wanting and getting are 2 different things though. I'd rather have the 97 local to me with similar miles.
Is the car ruined because of the front end? No, some rich kid will buy and not appreciate the car. However, to most of us on here, we'd prefer that one, the only with the old style front end, to have it's original parts up front.

I would considering buying it, or at least talking to the guy if it didn't look like an accord.
With the JDM front, I'll give you 10k, maybe.. (sorry I hate the JDM front)

26? Is he crazy? Maybe it's a cali thing, or something but there's no way over here he'd get that. It's not stock!!!! I don't care how much he claims it is.
And still, why was the front end changed? Accident?

He claims the JDM front was done is 2002ish time frame because it was the thing to have back then. He claims no accidents at all. I mean its 50/50 in my opinion. Me personally wouldn't have touched that thing ever.

whats the big deal in buying a car with a jdm front-end. it really doesnt mean the car was hit. in fact in my 98 type r has a jdm front-end. i did it because i think it just looks better. i never been in an accident. my 98 has only 32k miles on it too. its all up to the buyer. some people may want that. at least i put an original all metal jdm front with hids in my car. its a japanese factory part. as long as it lines up well whats the big deal. u guys make it seem like its a crime to put these front-ends on. and i really dont think it drops the value at all. it may increase in value to those who want that ACCORD front-end.. now his car is mint and i do think its worth what hes asking for. its just a cosmestic look thats all. his car is clean.
and if the buyer wants to return that car to stock then u can easily go to a junk yard and find a 94-97 front-end for like 500 bucks and re-convert it. its really not that hard too. then u can turn around and sell his jdm front-end ....

With a car like that you want to molest it as little as possible. If you were to change out the JDM front end for an the USDM front end, I think it would be worth less than either or...

Here's why... It's a 97. The only model with that older style front end. Personallly, I recently bought a car with a JDM front end already installed. I wanted it that way, or I would have bought a USDM front end and did it myself.
Why would someoen pay 26k only to return it the way they wanted it, without JDM front end? Also, tell me where you can find an OEM 97 lip? They are super hard to find and you will certainly pay way more for it. As for any old 94-97 front end? Now your really decreasing the value and it's most certainly not "stock" as advertised.

Yeah thats an even worse suggestion
. Once this retard move is completed, you then have mismatching VINs which will decrease the value of the car horribly. You also won't go to any junkyard and find a 97 ITR lip. They are discontinued and very very hard to find. Lastly... you will never find a 94-97 front end and "re-convert" for $500. There is more than $500 alone in paint there.

so what!! its just a front end. the car is spotless with no mods.. at least u can say that its a 97 with a jdm front-end. ull see more 97's with the original front-end than u do with the jdm nose. at least u can say that u are ever more rare
97's r what 1 of 650?? at least u can say ur of 1 of 50 with a 97 jdm-fronted us spec r
