Default ESP header

anyone running this header? Their website says it clears everything on preludes and hugs the oil pan tight. It's also under $500, my price range, made 204whp I/H/E w/ tune. thanks.

note that this was on a JDM H22A, not a USDM but it still made nice gains

200whp/168tq from intake-exhaust-ESP header.....
I just wouldn't buy a header from a Company that even tried to claim that.
for manipulating dyno charts.
Buy a Vibrant header for similar money....mine made 9whp/6tq over a Greddy.
Vibrant header/Greddy exhaust made 15whp/9tq over Greddy header/Stock exhaust.

Vibrant won't fit an sh and it's more expensive.

Step up $100 and make it fit...Just my .02
The other option would be a used DC with a 2.5" collector mod......
I'm sorry, I just can't get over the principle of a Bogus 200whp. They can say what they want about it......It wouldn't make that power on the Dyno I made 204whp on. It could very well be a great piece, but I'll never find out from my own experience.....nor will ANY Chicagoland Preluder for that matter.

Not unless their name was SMSP/HyTech/RMF/SSR-DTR...
The SMSP I saw Dyno local made about 10-12whp more than similarly modded Preludes with DC headers....My only experience with RACE headers on the dyno. Also judging by my Vibrant gains.....its possible.
A Prelude with intake-exhaust-Race header still isn't making close to 200whp on my local dyno......All dynos are different though.
Its just far to easy to manipulate Dyno charts to SELL your product...

Is there such a header that will fit my sh without modifying anything, just bolt on besides dc? I want something street legal as well.

Only one way to really find out......I just don't see a Camp1320/ESP being in the realm of an H22 Race header. Will they make more power than every OTHER header out there(-Vibrant) for a little more money??? Probably.
I have 2 Vibrants in my family of parts so my next purchase will be something BIG and FAT along the lines of the HyTech!

The ESP looks like a POS built on half of a DC.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the camp header would walk over a vibrant/mugen/t1r/etc, though. It looks like a rough knockoff of Dave/SMSP's B-series design (hardly the first, but the first for a H), which has worked pretty well for many B-series people. Who knows what it looks like on the inside (just like so many other knockoffs), but it is pretty cheap.

If you guys look at the picture it is basically just another ebay/obx/vibrant/megan header modified. The remade the lower pipe.

you have to under stand different dynos show different results, different days show different results, different dyno setups will show different results, different motors will show different results.

Just because your car didn't make 200 doesn't mean theirs can't. I know h22 are somewhat hard to dyno over 200wp. If you look the motor must have been strong making 186 before the header.

But I would say this is better then a normal 2.5 collector modification and I would say its better then a stock vibrant.

But if you want to go cheaper do what they did and buy a cheap ebay/obx/ebay/vibrant header. and remake the lower section. So use the middle flange and mill it out to accept a bigger pipe. and then weld it all together when its on your motor.

So I would say this $410 shipped is the best deal unless you want to make it yourself.

You refer to the Vibrant like its some $200 ebay header......
Its actually a very good copy of a Mugen...... for about 1/2 the price. Considering how it killed the Greddy in my testing.....9whp/6tq over Greddy
So ESP is god I guess?!?!......
Expecting anything more than a SUPER DC for $400 is just silly....
I spent $150 more for my Vibrant than my Greddy, so I was happy! Can't beat 9whp for $150 more.

You keep mentioning how it "killed" the Greddy, I'm just wondering; Did the Greddy have have the 2.5" collector mod? If not, that right there is where you are picking up all of this extra power, the Vibrant comes with a bigger collector then the Greddy. What about area under the curve? Peak numbers are nice but the modded Greddy header is known for its very strong mid-range. Just curious because on several occasions I've seen modded Greddy's hang with pricier headers as far as peak numbers go and absolutely stomp them in the mid-range. Same dyno, same day.

Stock Greddy.....Vibrant has a 2.25" collector as well....
Peak power was 9/6 and it was 5-7 throughout the mid range.....Im going to have to dig for dyno sheets now. I knew I should have scanned them all.
