ep3 seats in a del sol?
i have seen s2000 seats put into a del sol and im wondering how hard it is to put some ep3 seats into a del sol. Does it require alot of modification. Please help me out becuase someone local has a set for sale thanks
Yes, you'll need custom rails/brackets.
The seats sit SUPER high unless you have really low rails.
The pans aren't removable so you can't do them like s2k seats.
ep3/rsx seats are about the same difficulty and have the same issues with height after installation. My hair when spiked easily touches my civic's headliner, I couldn't image with the rumored +3" of height with the ep3/rsx seats. I would have to bend my neck to drive.

As far as I know no one produces these low rails for those seats. The market simply isn't there IMO. You'll have to make them yourselves or get a knowledgeable machin shop to make them.
Sit in your car, take a 3.5" wood block and sit it on top of your head. That will be a good deciding factor for these seats. I've never seen them installed safely or without looking very high.
