Default Crv-tec...is it reliable?? Can it be?

I was wondering if a basic crvtec setup can be daily driven reliably. The only after market part i can afford for the setup right now is some pistons and rods. And i don't plan to drag this motor everywhere i go. Opinions and thoughts would be aprrieciated.

If it's built right, with NEW bearings, bearing clearances are within spec, oil line doesn't leak, etc... there's no reason it should be any less reliable than a factory motor.
