Default prelude transmisions

i have a f22 and my trany is grinding in 3rd so i want to get a new trany and i was wondering witch is better f22, h23 or h22 tranys? thank you

The H22 tranny is the best for all motor I believe, since it has the shortest gear ratios of the trannys mentioned. Shorter gear ratios mean faster acceleration.

True, but lots of F22 people have better success with the H23 transmission because it's geared better towards their powerband

if you do alot of hwy driving and not so much racing at the track, youll be much happier w/ the h23 trans. but you could just rebuild your trans and save alot of $$

Happens for me going into 2nd and 3rd quickly, I'm changing my transmission fluid and that should fix it, I'm hoping.

Trans rebuilds can be very expensive when done correctly......Not a wise idea to just replace what NEEDS replacing......When I priced out the rebuild I was over $800 in parts alone....
On the cheap.....find a used H23 trans! Bottom line is ANYTHING is better than a trans from an F.
Other option is a brand new trans from Honda to the tune of ~$2k.
