Default please help identify the sensor

i have a Y8 and yesterday we recieved lots of rain that almost made my motor hydrolock. i have a short air intake and i still got some drops inside. My engine light turned on and i think its the sensor that goes in air intake. im going to advance today to get the computer checked. Now i just want to get an idea how much this sensor costs does anybody know what its called??

Just check your cel at home......

The sensor in your intake arm is the IAT (intake air temp) sensor.
Water, typically, will not harm it...

Went snorkeling once in my '99 hatch, and car started sputtering, and I was getting an intermittent misfire. Took it on the expressway, and dogged it, and the cel went away, and so did the sputtering.
