I have a 97 civic ex with a LS motor

My question do i need to replace the torque mount or could i just use a torque damper? Cause my mount and braket is broken from what i was told. I look some info up but wanted a better idea

I've seen people not run the torque mounts on their engines, but I personally recommend running them.

They help with vibration as well as torque.

I run the torque mounts with a J's Racing engine damper on my EG hatch and it works great.

 

I would defiantly run them. Do you have a pic of the broken mount? You can usually buy them pretty cheap.

 

I suggest to just do it right, or suffer the consequences common to anyone having the mentality of "it's good enough, right?"

 

get a set of hasport mounts and you wont need tq mounts or a engine damper
