Just throwing this out there, seeing if anyone might know what the problem is,

Every once in a while, becoming more often, id say about once every other day or two,

Ill start up my car, it will start up and sound normal, and as soon as i let go of the key, the car shuts off.
Ill try again, starts fine, then the key goes to the normal on position by itself, and the car will shut off.

The first time it happend, all i had to do was press on the gas a bit, and it stayed on, then resumed to normal.
The second time I had to start it up around 5-6 times, then it stayed on,
Third and final time, I was driving fine, stopped at a friends house to drop them off, had turned off the car, and then when i got back in and started it up, it did the repeat where it would not stay on. I had to turn the car on, then adjust the key, so that it was still in the ignition mode, but just slightly before it would normally cut off, then drive for a bit, a few fail'd key let go'es, but eventually it stayed on,

Im gunna take the car some place tomarrow, just wondering if this was a simple problem, that sumone had seen or heard of before, thanx

ignition switch. for a FACT.

not the tumbler where you stick the key in, but the elecrical portion. search 'ignition switch' and ye shall find.
